Education is the key to unlocking a bright future for our children. In Florida, parents have a multitude of educational options to choose from, including private schools.

Private schools often offer smaller class sizes, specialized programs, and a unique approach to education. However, the cost of private education can be a significant barrier for many families. Fortunately, there are numerous scholarships available to help ease the financial burden.

ALL students may be eligible for up to $30,000 in scholarships. Learn more here.

The Broach School, located in Jacksonville and Orange Park, is committed to providing quality education to students with unique learning needs. We offer several scholarships to help families access their specialized programs.

Let’s take a closer look at some of the scholarships available:

1. McKay Scholarship Program: The McKay Scholarship Program is a state-funded scholarship that provides financial assistance to students with disabilities. It allows eligible students to attend an eligible private school, including the Broach School. This scholarship can cover tuition and fees, making quality education accessible to students with special needs.

2. Gardiner Scholarship: The Gardiner Scholarship Program assists students with certain special needs, including autism, Down syndrome, and more. This scholarship allows parents to customize their child’s education by providing funds for various educational services, including enrollment at private schools like the Broach School.

3. Hope Scholarship: The Hope Scholarship Program aims to provide educational options for students who have experienced bullying or harassment in public schools. Eligible students can use this scholarship to attend a participating private school, including the Broach School, where they can learn in a safe and supportive environment. Learn more about the Hope Scholarship here.

4. Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC): The FTC Scholarship is for all K-12 students, regardless of household income. The scholarships convert into education savings accounts (ESA), allowing families flexibility in investing in their children’s education for those who will use the scholarship for full-time private school tuition and fees—providing opportunities for these families to enroll their children in private schools, including the Broach School, and escape the limitations of their assigned public schools. 5. Personalized Education Program (PEP): The PEP is an education savings account program that allows parents to customize the education of students not attending public or private schools full-time. The PEP serves Florida’s home education population who would like to use state scholarship funds in an education savings account to assist with the educational needs of their Personalized Education Students.
