A School Built Around Your Child
You have watched your child struggle. You have sat through meetings, read the reports, and heard the words “below grade level” more times than you can count. The stress of it follows your family home. It shows up at the dinner table, at bedtime, in the way your child talks about themselves.
You know your child is capable of more. You just need a school that knows it too.
At The Broach School, we have spent over 50 years working with students who needed something different. Not a different kid. A different approach. We built this community around that belief, and we have seen what happens when a child finally feels like they belong somewhere. The anxiety lifts. The excuses to stay home stop. A kid who dreaded school starts asking when they get to go back.
That is what we are here for.
Technology That Keeps Up With Your Child
Our classrooms are fully equipped with SMART Boards, Chromebooks, and interactive tools that keep students engaged and teachers connected to how each student is actually doing. Technology is not the point. Moving your child forward is. The tools just make that easier.
Enrichment Programs That Develop the Whole Child
School is about more than grades. We offer speech and occupational therapy, Service Dogs from Project Chance, and two programs we are especially proud of.
The High School High Tech Program builds real-world skills: self-advocacy, budgeting, networking, team building, resume writing, and daily living activities that prepare students for life after school, not just the next grade level.
The Mike Rowe Works Work Ethic Curriculum, designed by Mike Rowe of Dirty Jobs, is built around four pillars: work ethic, personal responsibility, delayed gratification, and a positive attitude. It is one of the most practical things we teach.
Flexible Tuition and Scholarship Options
We work hard to make sure cost is not the reason a family walks away. Flexible tuition options are available, and we accept multiple scholarships, including the Family Empowerment Scholarship and the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship. Our Enrollment Director sits down with every family personally. No automated process, no runaround. Just a real conversation about finding the right path forward.
How We Measure Progress
A lot of our students arrive with test anxiety. Real anxiety, built up over years of being measured against a standard that was never designed for them. We get that.
We use the Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) test, partly because it meets scholarship requirements, but mostly because it is the right tool for our students. It adapts in real time to each child’s skill level. It does not punish them for where they start. It shows us where they are and how far they have come. That growth is what we care about.
No pressure to hit grade level on day one. Progress is the goal. And for our students, progress is everything.
Broach School Open House Tours
All new families will meet with Whitney Millson, Enrollment Director, at the campus most suited to your child’s needs. This meeting will give us the opportunity to discover how we can serve your child and for your family to tour the campus and find out more about The Broach School and our Enrollment Process.
